We were approached by KN Office Supplies, an office supplies business provider who relocated to new premises in Bristol and required a seven day turnaround.
The business had operated at Olympus House in St George Bristol for several decades, the premises was split between both commercial and industrial use with a large warehouse providing stocked products for next day delivery.
A large premises with a footprint of almost 20,000 square feet had moved to a new fully furnished premises in central Bristol leaving all unwanted items required for clearance.
Our remit was to safely clear the entire building within seven days, prior to the new owner taking the keys for redevelopment into residential use.

What we did
Prior to clearing the premises we undertook a full survey of the building to establish how we could help.
Working with the business we advised what we were able to do which was a large scale recycling plan, ensuring over 90% of the items within the building found a new home.
We advertised all saleable items to the general public via our social media feeds, such as office and IT equipment, a large consignment of out of date catalogues was donated to various schools for children’s craft projects.
All metal items were transferred to a metal recycling plant in Bristol, all left over waste was taken to a commercial waste depot in Avonmouth.
The building was empty within the seven day specified period to the satisfaction of the previous and new owner of the building, ready for it’s new use as multiple residential dwellings.
